More blue scraps

This July the Rainbow Scrap Challenge colour is BLUE once again. So the blue scrap bucket has come out again, and I'm going for a blue placemat with pale pink veins.

Progress has been slow, as I've been knitting this month. There, too, I've experienced setbacks.

Finally, though, on 31 July, a blue placemat!

I love your blue placemat! The skinny pink strips are the perfect accent.

It's so satisfying to make something beautiful and useful with small pieces of beloved scraps, isn't it? I always find myself smiling as I sew across a favorite scrap fabric. It brings back sweet memories of project made for someone special. The pops of pink sashing really show off your fabrics...well done!

I love that narrow pink accent! I plan to remember that design tactic for later.

Great idea to pair the Dark BLUE with the pink, Marly. Thanks for sharing your project with the July 2021 TABLE SCRAPS Challenge!!
