Squared Away in green

For March Angela chose green for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge and Mari chose a second Red Cross block for the Squared Away sampler. We made a different Red Cross block in January.

The recommendation is to make three blocks each month, but I decided to just make two finishing at 10" each, which will give me twenty blocks: a nice four by five block setting, large enough for a throw.

As I had so much to say last week about our freak weather, here's an update! The wind changed direction and the temperature rose 20ºC within two days: we're back to normal! Thank goodness!

Happy Sewing

I really like that block - just having the two color ways shows how much you could do with these blocks how totally different they look

Your blocks turned out great. Such pretty shades of bright green.

Your blocks look great! Glad that your weather is getting better. It's definitely time for spring.

These blocks are lovely, now I need to go search through my scraps for the right greens.

I love your Sampler blocks (way more than mine, that’s for sure)! I particularly like the print you used in the first one. And like you, I’m doing 10” blocks and thinking of a throw size.

It's amazing what a difference reversing the values makes, isn't it? Almost like two different patterns! I love both of them.

Pretty Squared Away blocks! I like how much different they when you reverse the places where there is white versus green. I'm going to try doing that with my second block when I get to it.

Very pretty blocks. My next one will do the reverse of colors like you did. Such pretty greens.

Wow! You are having a green couple of posts. I love your blocks.

I am visiting from http://dreamworthyquilts.blogspot.com and am currently logged into a different Google account which would make me hard to find.

Warmer, but so, so much wetter here. I like these stronger greens, especially that geometric print.
