En Provence part 3

The third clue of En Provence, Bonnie Hunter's 2016 Quiltville mystery, was posted last Friday. I started cutting on Saturday and sewed 32 purple 4-patches on Sunday morning.

32 purple 4-patches

Some of these squares look blue (even my white design wall looks blue!) in this photo. In reality they really do look blue, seen against the other purples, but lay them alongside blue, and they look purple! I need to make approximately 50 more to have half of the original number, which is what I'm going for at present.
Last week I managed to make my full quota of triangle in a square units, so the next 50 4-patches shouldn't pose too much of a problem.

I'm linking up to

 Quiltville's Quips & Snips

on Monday afternoon (Central European Time), so click on the picture to see more purple 4-patches.

Happy sewing

Marly.

I love the splash of green you have in yours. Hope you are having as much fun as I am playing with these colors.

Very pretty fabrics.

You made good progress on this clue. Blues and purples are hard to photograph unless you have both in a shot.

Almost looks like a quilt already!

Purples always make me happy - yours are lovely! (Even the ones trying to pretend to be blue! Some of my lavenders are pretending to be pink in my photos...)

it's a labour of love with all the four patches to date. Looking good.
