I wasn't planning on doing brown or black, but I do need to make a few more blocks to get a satisfactory layout, so maybe grey will creep in next month too, as well as some of the colours I've already used.
I have another scrappy project on my design wall at the moment:
No planned colour scheme here!
4.5" shoo fly blocks for the 2019 Leaders and Enders challenge organised by Bonnie Hunter. If you're interested in the challenge, or just in the concept of leaders and enders click here.
Another scrappy project that's just come off the wall:
Overlapping Octagons is ready to be layered and quilted.

Happy sewing

Greatblocks! I loves me a good bow tie block! Those octagons are awesome!
Very pretty blocks! I like your scrappy quilt top, too! Fun!
You've got some beautiful scrappy things going on there, Marly! I really like your shoofly blocks - they are very tempting!
Those Shoo Fly blocks are going to make a wonderfully colorful scrappy quilt. I was kind of tempted to make some myself as a RSC project next year since I'm not a leader/ender kind of girl.
Lovely dots in your purple. congrats on Overlapping Octagons. How big is this quilt. I have a mind of making one for me as I really love its scrappiness. ;^)
So good to see Overlapping Octagons all ready for the next step and I guess at the end of the year the other two beautiful RSC quilts will be tops!
Nice job on your PURPLE blocks for the RSC, but what I really LOVE are those sweet shoo Fly blocks!! I may need to jump on that bandwagon...
What fun scrappy projects!
I love your colourful shoo fly blocks, Marly. Looks like a pattern I could handle. Of course your purple bow ties are sweet. Happy Stitching.
Lovely blocks and I really like how your octagons have turned out. I especially like that there are little bits of red amongst the blue as well as in the centre squares.
