RSC14: week 40: More browns than I thought!

I have more browns than I remembered, although I'm not sure if the light tan/orange pieces in the middle left really count as brown. What do you think?
I'm surprised at how good they look together; I'd expected a pile of browns to have a very muddy look to them.
I'm looking forward to some more sampler blocks this month.

Oh I think that those brown and orangey prints work really well; some spark to those brown colorways...I miss doing this challenge this year, but have waaay too many projects to catch up on. hugs, Julierose

Brown doesn't get the respect it deserves! I say, put the orangey fabrics in their own block, and let the browns work together. You have some lovely prints to add sparkle.

They look quite orange to me but goes well with that pile.

I love the cheddars! I would not count them as browns, but they do look great together!

I don't know that I would count them as brown but I think a little pop of those colors in the blocks would make them sing :)

Nice for autumn :)

I like browns. I would have to see some clear orange fabrics beside those ones to see if they looked more brown or orange. But they definitely look at home amongst the browns!

Love your variety of browns! I'd count them - those look like warm browns and would look great grouped together.
