I think I'll still be making these next year!
The last few days I've been working on a present for a friend:
which also has a lot of pink and yellow. As she sometimes reads my blog I'm not publishing photos of the whole thing until next weekend!
Now I'm also trying to quilt my Star Light, Star Dark quilt before the QAL deadline at Quilty Habit on Monday week. This is a view of the three blocks on the dark side:
and a close up of the quilting so far:
not much done yet! |
A short post this week, but now you know why! I'm now off to fit the supreme slider and the BSR and hit the FMQ big time!
I'm linking up to:
so pop over there and see what others have been doing with their scraps this week.
Happy sewing
Marly.

Very pretty blocks Marly and I love the way your are quilting your quilt.... looks great so far! Christine x
Your blocks look good, as does your quilting. :-)
Love your little bear paws Marly. I jumped on the RSC band wagon this month : ) and made my first block! Hard to imagine how it will all work in the end with all the rainbow colors. Maybe red was a bad color to start with. After making the first block I love it and now I want an all red and Cream quilt! And that is how my UFO pile continues to grow. So easily off track on a whim : ) Thanks for sharing. Janita
I so love your bear paws. I am positive this quilt will be well worth the wait til next year to see it all come together. Great quilting so far. Enjoy! ;^)
I love your bear paw blocks. They make me want to start a new quilt. Thanks for sharing your pretty projects with Oh Scrap!
Pretty Paws and AWESOME quilting on your SLSD quilt!!
The pink and black look great together in the Bear Paw! Nice quilting, too!
Love the extended bear paw! First time I have seen that block, wonderful! The quilts on your star quilt is lovely, going to be a fabulous finish.
Each time you show some of your bear paws I fall in love with them again. It's the special mix of color with b/w that gets me. Your quilting is looking very good. Hope you meet the deadline. Keep up the good work!.
I enjoy seeing those bear paw blocks every tije you post about them! The contrast of the rainbow colors and the black and white fabrics is so oretty!
