Each month Angela at
Soscrappy gives a rainbow colour of the month, and this month's colour is purple. She also gives instructions for sampler blocks, but this year I have decided not to make the sampler, but to make at least one pair of bear paw blocks in each colour.

Your bear paw blocks looks fantastic in purple. Happy Quilting Day!
You have picked a wonderful block to make into a rainbow. Love purple and black/white. Awesome. Happy International Quilting Day. ;^)
The bear paws with the scrappy black and white background are so dramatic. Love them!
Love your bear paw blocks (and you know I'm partial to RSC colors with black and white).
Very pretty blocks Marly! I love your purple fabric! Christine x
Still loving your scrappy Bear Paw blocks (and the garden photo, too!!)
I love the variety of b/w fabrics you have. Everything looks good with b/w.
The black and whites are a great addition to the bear paws, a totally different appearance. Keep up the good work! And thanks for the crocuses.
Those bear paw blocks are so neat with the purple, black, and white together! I really like them!
Lovely purples in your Bear Paws. Just beautiful!
