May Green

May has been green month in the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Although strictly speaking there are still a few May hours left, they won't be sewing hours here! I have grandchildren coming to stay in a few hours so the spare bedroom has reverted to just that and my sewing corner has been packed away!

Before I put everything away, though, I took a photo of my May blocks.

All green in May

The Chinese coins block is still waiting for the side pieces. I haven't made all the blocks but I'll be going back to green to pick up the remaining blocks soon.

Exit green!
(He had just come out of the grass,
and wasn't yet completely camouflaged.)

In the meantime we're going yellow!

I'm linking up with:

Soscrppy

So click on the button to go over there
and see what others have made this month.

Happy Sewing

Marly.

Great job with the blocks. I'm going to continue playing a little with green next week before pulling out the yellow.

Green is one of my favourite colours and I love the array of greens you have, in your blocks. I also love yellow, which really likes to stand out. It's absolutely gorgeous when it plays well, with others. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Hope you've had a lovely time with the grandies. The green blocks are looking good. That ghecko is stunning half camouphlaged. I had not realised that there is such a distinct line between the colouring as it changes. You did well to get that photographed I the middle of the change.
