I'm very interested in seeing how your Tulip mini, turns out.Jo Fergusonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05622284091135049983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3778577918726427465.post-85071188439784327252014-07-12T11:58:06.483+02:002014-07-12T11:58:06.483+02:00When I've made quilted cushion covers, I'v...When I've made quilted cushion covers, I've used calico as the backing. That's the English meaning of calico, which is what Americans call muslin. You can also just use any fabric you have that you're not fond of! (Maybe you don't have this issue?)

Don't know about the reverse appliqué, as I've never tried it. It does look like it is going to be very tiny. I guess you need to use very fine needle and thread for such small pieces. I hope you can sort it out to your satisfaction.Vireyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16464838238295059335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3778577918726427465.post-79990704332755928042014-07-11T04:02:42.407+02:002014-07-11T04:02:42.407+02:00I recently made a cushion cover using a thrifted s...I recently made a cushion cover using a thrifted sheet to back the quilting, so I recommend that rather than buying new fabric.Lisa in Port Hopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07442503238247816596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3778577918726427465.post-79109342662187188962014-07-10T19:11:15.803+02:002014-07-10T19:11:15.803+02:00The cushion top looks nice and I´m looking forward...The cushion top looks nice and I´m looking forward to your Tulip Mini - nice combo of crazy blocks and aplique.verpahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13566841413461984536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3778577918726427465.post-3757662475029918652014-07-10T14:02:54.220+02:002014-07-10T14:02:54.220+02:00What a fun variety of projects in your lineup! I made my first cushion just recently and used (bleached) muslin for both the pillow form and the backing for the quilted front. (or are you talking about a backing for the whole cushion? (I've now confused myself, lol!) I love your zigzag...it is beautiful!SarahZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17848104380274247158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3778577918726427465.post-70749816972680164292014-07-10T13:52:39.092+02:002014-07-10T13:52:39.092+02:00Great list of projects.
